All-Breed Genetic Health Clinic
On Sunday, March 11, the Wachusett Kennel Club will present an all-bred genetic health clinic at the DogStar Activity Center in Acton, MA. Tests include blood analysis with Dr. Jean Dodds of Hemopet, DNA tests from Optigen, CERF exams with Dr. Michelle Willis, 4DX SNAP tests for heartworm and tick-borne diseases, and rabies vaccinations. All-Breed Heart and Eye Clinic
Pine Tree Golden Retriever Club is offering all-breed OFA heart exams with Dr. John MacGregor and CERF eye exams with Dr. Ruth Marrion on March 17 and 18 in Augusta. Details and a sign-up sheet are in the February newsletter.
Breeders' Symposium
The Ladies' Dog Club is sponsoring a breeders' symposium for novice, expert, and all serious dog breeders on March 25 at the DogStar Activity Center in Acton, MA. Kathi Brown will discuss the genetics of picking the right stud dog, and a panel of top breeders will discuss breeding top dogs for generations. All-Breed Eye and Microchip Clinic
The Granite State Shetland Sheepdog Club is hosting an all-breed CERF eye clinic with Dr. Ruth Marrion on April 1 at the Oyster River Veterinary Hospital in Lee, NH. Microchips are also available. Registration deadline is March 10. Details and a registration form are in the February newsletter.
